Ho, Ho, Hello! Welcome to another beautiful day! Today, I am sharing a card (and video tutorial!) featuring MFT’s Santa & Friends, Ho Ho Ho dienamics and the Snow Flurry stencil. This Santa and deer are so adorbs! Let me be honest with ya… I don’t live in a hunting region. Well, not for deer anyway. I’m thinking if the deer have spots they are babies right, fawns? They lose the spots as they get older, but before they grow antlers? My guy might be unique. He has spots. And antlers. It’s just for fun, ya’ll!
I began with an A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) panel of Smooth Bristol Paper that I ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. I then die cut with MFT’s Ho Ho Ho Dienamic from the back of the blended panel so that I could use the die upside down and reverse of how it was intended. I could have cut each element apart and rebuilt it that way, but I felt it was just easier to leave it all connected in one piece. I then smoothed on Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard over the ink blending through the Snow Flurry Stencil.

I stamped Santa & Friend(s) in MFT Extreme Black ink and Copic colored. The suit is in R39, R29 and R14. Skin is E33, E53, E50 and R20 for his cheeks. Beard and trim is W0, W1. Boots are W9, W7, and W5. The deer is E39, E99 and E34. Add dots to deer with Sakura Gelly Roll pen in white.
Assemble together with foam tape and nesting Santa and deer into the bottom word. Add an additional white heat embossed sentiment in black, if you wish. It is cute with or without.
