Hiya, friends! Today we are hopping in celebration of the fresh, new Hero Art’s 2020 Summer Catalog. I hope you have a chance to sit back, relax and bebop your way through all of the contributors for some pretty fantastic designs. It is a small release, but it is a good one!
I’m featuring the new Vineyard Heroscape. I am only a few hours south of Napa Valley in California. How could I not!?!
Recreate this project by die cutting the Grapevine Window from Smooth Bristol cardstock. Color design with watercolor brush markers in Henna, Violet Blue, Plum, Grass and Apple. Allow to dry. Then sprinkle clear water over design and allow to dry again.
Stamp all layers of the Vineyard Heroscape on Dove White cardstock. I prefer stamping layer 3 first in black, then layer 4 in Orchid. Layer 1 is in Green Apple and last is layer 2 in Moss. As usual, I used my MISTI Precision Stamp tool for all my color layering steps. When working with color layering, I find it easiest to stamp the strongest, most defined layer first. Don’t feel like you have to complete them in the order they are packaged. You do what works best for you!
Die cut Vineyard Heroscape and additional accent images stamped in Cup o’Joe and Orchid. Assemble card by tucking in elements here and there, and using foam tape for dimension. White heat emboss sentiment onto Heroscape image in background. Attach finished panel to folded card base.
I created this card several weeks ago for a hop featuring the The Stamping Village Thinking of You stamp set. The project also uses the Sun Background Stencil, Sunburst Bold Print and 12-point Infinity Stars. The stamp set has been available in other village partner shops for a while, and it is now available in the Hero Arts shop too!
