Hello and welcome! Today, I am sharing two projects featuring the Hero Arts Flower Garden Fancy Die. It is a beautiful die that creates a full A2 sized lace like cutout with flowers, leaves and even a few butterflies. Of course it can be used as an overlay on top of white, in color, or to create a shaker. All fun things, but what if we change it up and create something new?
Create this bright and super glittery background by water wetting bristol paper and then dripping Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors on the long edge of the A2 panel and letting them run across the paper and blend into each other. I used Indigo, Purple, Pink, Strawberry, Orange and Dandelion. Once dry, coat entire panel with Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone. So freakin’ sparkly, if only still photos could capture the magic!
Trim watercolored glitter panel down just a smidge to about 4″ x 5 1/4″ and mat onto Pitch Black cardstock. Die cut the Flower Garden Fancy die into Hero Hues Dove White cardstock. Trim die cut design to create an accent border along the left edge of the card panel and Precision Glue in place. Die cut and stack 3 “Thanks,” again with Precision Glue, and adhere to panel. Stamp small sentiment in Black, accent with striped paper and adhere in place. Attach finished panel to card base and lastly, add a few matte enamel dots (Remember those? Yep, I still have quite a stash!).
Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today. Have an amazing week and happy crafting to us all!
