Hello, Creatives! Thank you for joining in today as I participate in the Spellbinders Gilded Age and Happy Blog Hop! Today’s hop features designs created by Sharyn Sowell and Becca Feeken. Both incredibly talented. At Creativation, just this past January, I had the pleasure of sitting and chatting with Sharyn for a bit. I was fascinated by her creative technique. She uses a very small pair of scissors (think nail scissor size) to cut out all of her designs, freehand. All. Meticulously. Snipped. From. Paper. No sketch, no computer, just her vision – Incredible! I was absolutely enthralled and could have just watched her for hours. Eventually of course her designs are digitized for mass production, but my, oh my – those beginnings!
Look closely at the Sharyn Sowell Birthday Banner I used for this project and imagine cutting that with tiny scissors. You can see it, right?! Amazing!
Copic color around edges of an A2 cardstock panel to create perfect match to foliage on washi tape. Apply washi’d panel with dimensional adhesive to an A2 panel. Adhere Birthday Banner to washi’d panel with dimensional adhesive. Attach finished card to folded card base.
Super quick, easy, and charming!
