Quick & Simple stamping today featuring the Hero Arts February My Monthly Hero kit. Truly, I have other projects to do – but I can’t seem to tuck this one away quite yet!
These kits sell out quickly, but last I checked there were still a few available.

The birds from the main kit have a sketchy feel. For this card, I didn’t want that (I did here though). After stamping the bird with Crimson ink on 110# Neenah Solar White, I cleaned up the edge with a white Signo gel pen. I went on to stamp a few branches in Soft Pool and cut them all out with my Scan N Cut 2. There are dies included in the kit, but I didn’t have my hands on them quite yet.
Weave the branches together and place over a black glitter cardstock accent strip (a dark woodgrain strip from the paper included in the kit would be super cute too). Coat bird with Sparkle Marker because all things are better with glitter! Add a couple of dimensional adhesives and adhere all in place. Stamp sentiment in black. Trim panel, before or after adhering branches, and mount to folded card base. Pair with matching envelope.
Quick and simple and you can too. See you soon!
I’ll always do my best to link you to shops with products in stock. As you know, inventory levels are always fluctuating and therefor may not be available. Please use the retailer notification buttons to let them know you want more!
