Hiya! STAMPtember is still in full swing over in the Simon Says Stamp headquarters and they have been celebrating with all kinds of fun all month long. There is a new collaborative stamp set, nearly everyday, that is exclusive to Simon. Today’s release is with Hero Arts. You know I love that! I’ve created a quick and simple thank you because often that is just what I need… I would rather be able to show my gratitude to several versus sinking a ton of time into one. Though I’ll admit, there are times when a huge thank you is due!
Recreate this look by ink blending Crimson and Fresh Peach inks on the top third of an A2 Dove White cardstock panel. Set aside to dry and stamp a simple image from Real Flowers Vintage on another shorty A2 panel with Fresh Pink ink.
Stamp Intens-ified Black sentiment in lower right corner. Stamp black dots by pressing the eraser end of a Frixion highlighter or pen into Intens-ified Black ink. Then stamp onto cardstock between the flowers in a random pattern.
Liberally pat ink blended panel with antistatic powder or cornstarch and then heat emboss floral branches in white, varying height and overlapping for a full look. Heat embossing after blending will give crisp bright white embossing, though do be sure the blending is dry. A heat tool may come in handy for a bit of extra drying power.
The vintage feel of the images inspired this retro looking project. I love to revisit older card styles with new techniques! Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today. Keep your eye on all the STAMPtember fun over at Simon Says Stamp! Just a few more days to go!
P.S. I have an extra Real Flowers Vintage stamp set and would love to share it with you! Just comment on my Instagram post with this project. I have giveaways here on the regular and they are few and far between over there. The winner will be announced on the same Instagram post sometime on Monday, September 30th, 2019. Commenting to win is open until then. Good luck!
I’ll always do my best to link you to shops with products in stock. As you know, inventory levels are always fluctuating and therefore may not be available. Please use the retailer notification buttons to let them know you want more!
