Hello and welcome! Simon Says Stamp has a brand new release out, Rest & Refresh. How good does that sound? Summer break is just about to get started for my Littles and I cannot wait! Well, let’s be honest. I’ll like it for several weeks and then I’ll crave routine, once again. I’m thinking I may just have to set one up for us this summer to keep us all in that Rest & Refresh mood!
Today, I am sharing a project with the new Thanks Frame. A good “thanks” die is a must in my crafty arsenal. I’ve paired it up with ink blending in summer vibe shades. You can see more inspiration with this die set and other items from this release HERE in the Simon Says Stamp Rest & Refresh gallery.

On a scant A2 Dove White card stock panel stamp blend Hero Arts Reactive Inks in Creamsicle, Taffy and Pool Party, overlapping each slightly. Then smooth Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste through the Simon Says Stamp Confetti Stencil. A palette knife works great for this, but my favorite is an old plastic hotel key or gift card! No need to clean, just toss when finished!

Die cut two complete Thanks Frames. Split the sets apart to create 2 narrow outer frames with the word and one reverse image. Adhere each in place centered with this awesome new Ruler (it has all the increments written out down to a 1 1/6th”!). I prefer to use liquid Precision Glue for its ability to dispense the finest line, wiggle into place when wet, and strength when dry. Back blended panel with foam tape and adhere to folded card base.
Thank you for spending your time with me today. Hope to see you again soon and happy crafting!
xo, Janette
