The two projects I am sharing with you feature the Seahorse Background cling stamp. I’m sharing it embossed and rainbow style. LOVE!
Creating this card was easy, peasy! The hardest part? Not overthinking or overworking the color!
White heat emboss sentiment on Bristol Smooth cardstock. Tape down edges of paper to keep flat. Color densely over embossed area in an organic fashion with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in Turquoise Green, Persian Blue and Deep Violet. Liberally wet colored area with a paint brush and allow colors to meld together. The less fiddling the better. I prefer drying naturally, but you may heat dry, as well. Be cautious of the heat embossing and be sure the surface below is heat tolerant.
Trim down watercolor panel to a scant A2 size to and adhere flat to a Pitch Black mat, and then to a folded card base. White heat emboss I Believe in You sentiment onto Pitch Black cardstock and die cut. Pop sentiment onto watercolored panel with foam tape. Add shimmer pen to the sentiment for extra sparkle.

This card is perfect for a friend who might have hit a rough patch. Rainbows, an encouraging sentiment and a handwritten note are a sure bet to lift spirits!
Create this project by stamping the Seahorse Background repeatedly on an A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) Dove White cardstock panel with a MISTI type stamp positioner tool. Stamp from top to bottom in Rose Madder, Fresh Peach, Butter Bar, Aegean, Aquatic, and Grape Juice inks. Beginning with Rose Madder, ink up the top inch and a half-ish of the stamp. Blot the bottom edge of the inked area with a paper towel to allow it to fade into the next color with a soft edge.

For the second color, lay scratch paper over the previously inked solid area. Leave the soft fade out area exposed. Ink up the next inch and a half-ish with the second shade. Blot the top and bottom edge. Continue on through all of the remains colors. White heat emboss and die cut the Hang in there Friend sentiment and pop into place. Trim the additional small sentiment with the super handy Sentiment Label dies and adhere in place at an angle. Attach a few Rainbow Confetti sequins in rainbow order for that last splash of fun. Adhere to a folded card base and snail mail it!
