Woohoo! The Reverse Confetti Birthday Celebration has arrived and is now live to shop! The celebration continues with even more artists joining in today’s hop. There’s a bunch, so let’s get to it!
I have been sending soooo many cards lately. When I got going with the Sketched Florals stamp set I had a hard time stopping! Perfect for mass productions, but sometimes that gets a little monotonous. Changing up the design and/or stepping it up a notch keeps it fun and fresh!
Level up Day 1‘s Countdown to Confetti card by creating a shaker. Find the details, steps and techniques to the basics of this project there.
Adhere acetate to the back of the white Center Circle Cover Panel. Then layer 3 or 4 more Center Circle Cover Panels over the acetate to create the depth in the wells needed to contain shaker elements.
TIP: Adhere stacked layers with a non-tacky when dry liquid glue to allow a little wiggle room for perfect placement.
Add a few shaker elements to the wells and then slide over the top with a stiff flat edge, like a ruler or heavy cardstock. Add another Center Circle Cover Panel, if needed. Once depth requirement is met, fill wells to your liking. Seal wells closed with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Bumblebee Yellow cardstock panel.
