Hiya, friends! Hero Arts, Unity Stamp Company and The Stamping Village have come together to raise awareness in the crafty community for racial justice. Two stamps sets, releasing today, are in support of the cause and proceeds are benefiting charity. I’ve combined both stamp sets on one fun project, including upcycling stamp packaging!

Create this project by stamping Hero Arts contribution to The Stamping Village set, We Stand With You, on Dove White cardstock. Color images with Copic markers in various skin tones and rainbow shades. Fussy cut image and a border. Color rainbow border with same shades from image shirts.
I don’t believe the large heart from the United As One partner stamp set and the Hero Arts Infinity Heart Dies were designed to go together, but they do! The heart shaped stamp is an outline so it can be manipulated to be shorter, taller, asymmetrical or whatever you can dream up.

Die cut similarly sized Infinity Heart, just slightly off the edge of an A2 Dove White cardstock panel and the front of an A2 card base. Cut one and use it as a guide for the other, or stack and cut both at the same time. Using a MISTI Precision Stamp Tool, align the heart stamp around die cut opening. Adjust stamp to match die cut heart. Stamp heart image and sentiment on front of folded card in black. Then, ink up the die cut heart itself in Crimson, Bubble Gum and Fresh Peach. Close folded card base, and adhere heart through the opening it was cut from. Stamp sentiment in center of inked heart.
Add multicolored sequins (I made my own rainbow mix with a variety of Hero Arts sequins) to similarly sized empty clear stamp packaging. Trim as needed and close packaging securely with tape and then adhere inside folded card base aligning edge of the packaging to the edge of the heart. Then adhere the A2 die cut heart panel in place. Adhere people image in place on front of card, The stamp packaging helps to keep the sequins in a thin and spread out layer obscuring the secondary heart on the inside of the card. When looking from the inside of the card, the sequins hide the adhered image on the front. That is a win, indeed!
