Welcome to the jungle, we’ve got fun and games…. I just can’t get the Guns and Roses song out of my head no matter how much it dates me! You guys, that was – no is – still a good tune! It is on repeat in my head because I am just obsessed with this month’s My Monthly Hero Kit and the fact that Hero Arts is donating 10% of the net kit profits to jungle habitat preservation through the World Wildlife Fund. I can’t wait to hear the final tallies!
Today’s project features a few of the awesome add-ons that were paired with the jungle kit. I’ve used the Leafy Bold Prints, Jungle Bold Prints and Tropical Flowers. It is a pretty simple one to pull together and I’ll walk you through below!

First, white heat emboss Jungle Bold Prints on Dove White card stock. Ink blend from the bottom up with Blue Raspberry Reactive Ink and then Green Apple. Blend out smoothly to white. If you find blending ink to ink helps, white Sea Salt Reactive Ink is perfect! Lightly buff over embossing with dry cloth to brighten. Stamp Leafy Bold Prints in Black Dye ink, on Dove White card stock, two to three times for a solid, dark, crisp image. Do be sure to let each ink layer dry before adding the next to avoid any bleeding or blurring.

Stamp Tropical Flowers in Intense Black ink on Dove White card stock. Copic color flowers with R39, R37, R35, R22, YR24, Y18, Y06. G09, YG17, YG23, YG01 for the leaves. Die cut images.
Trim blended panel to A2, 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Trim black and white Leafy Bold Prints to 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ and Dove White panel to 3″ x 4 1/4″. Stamp sentiment in Black dye ink and adhere flowers with dimensional adhesive to white panel. Adhere white panel to black and white print with foam tape, and that set to the blended panel flat. I prefer Precision Glue for the wiggle room it offers. Adhere finished panel to folded card base.

I’ve created this version of the project featuring the same products over on the Hero Arts blog. You can find the details HERE.
Both of these layouts would work exceptionally well with the new Hello Toucan stamp set and the Thanks a Bunch Monkeys, too!
Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today. I hope you have have been inspired to create. If you have, I’d love to see it! Tag me on social media so I can cheer for you! I’ll see you soon!
