October MMH Add-Ons
I could not pass up the opportunity to color these cute critters. I’ve Copic colored them after stamping in Intense Black ink. They are each colored in the image of our dog Ranger, cat Luna and a raccoon that is been on our porch more times than I can count after the cat food. We probably should name him too. Something like Bandit. Geesh!
You can find a full list of project supplies HERE.
I die cut the images I used from the kit: animal stack, raccoon, tree and star. I’ve also die cut a Rounded Rectangle Infinity die into the middle of a panel I stamped lightly with Wood Floor Bold Prints in Soft Brown. I inked up, dabbed off with a paper towel and then pressed to the paper. I’ve lightly airbrushed the panel in the background with a matching Copic marker.
Assemble together with dimensional adhesive and a white heat embossed kit sentiment. Do be sure your Versamark pad is good and juicy. Mine wasn’t and the white text isn’t as crisp as I’d like. Time for a new re-inker!
To create this card I die cut a Nesting Infinity Heart into masking paper. After centering it toward the top on white cardstock, I airbrushed it darker at the bottom, lighter toward the top. Then I stamped a sweet sentiment from Merry & Bright Messages in Intense Black.
A full project supply list is linked HERE.
While I had the black ink in hand, I stamped the boy, girl and mistletoe from the kit. I Copic colored them, as well. Die cut the three images and adhere with dimensional adhesive onto heart panel. Adhere finished panel to A2 folded card base. I’ve got a thing lately about a slight border on the card base. Just trim down the main panel 3/8″ to 1/4″ overall to achieve this look. It certainly isn’t necessary but I like the pop it gives when adhered with with a little height from fun foam or foam tape.
