I love a good shaker card! Today, I am sharing two featuring Hero Arts Wood Frame Infinity Dies and the You’re Beautiful stamp set. I’m detailing the teal based nested project here and the interlocking project over on the Hero Arts blog, dun, dun, dun… with a video tutorial! I couldn’t manage a video for both, but the principles are the same between the two.
Trim acetate to fit larger frame and adhere to back. Center smaller die and trace the inner rectangle onto acetate. With scissors, trim out center acetate rectangle about an 1/8″ or so larger than the drawn line. Adhere smaller rectangle Wood Frame in place. Add two layers of foam tape to the backs of each frame. Trim foam tape long ways to keep it concealed behind frames, if necessary.
Add Icicle sequins in shaker area. Carefully remove foam tape release paper and adhere ink blended panel facing the front of the card. Intense Black stamp and clear emboss You’re Beautiful flowers and adhere in place along side of center rectangle. A touch of Precision Glue on the blended panel and another on the frame holds the flowers quite well. Heat emboss sentiment on Pitch Black cardstock and adhere in place. Attach finished panel to folded card base.
Have an amazing Monday and we’ll see you soon!
