May MMH Add-Ons
This card was created by ink blending with the new Ombre Reactive Spring Day (add-on) ink over masks I had cut with the Nesting Heart Dies. No clouds, no problem. The top of the hearts work perfectly and are a bit more custom to the shape and scale I was looking for. The blue ink shade is on the edge of the pad so it is easy access to blend with. The middle shade, a green, could be accessed by masking off the top and bottom colors just leaving that ink pad strip exposed.
I stamped the grass (kit) with the two shades of green in the Ombre Reactive Spring Day ink (add-on). The pup (kit) and sentiment (kit) were stamped in black. I added the tree/swing die cut (kit) in white and popped it all onto a Black Folded Card. I chose the “happy thoughts” sentiment, but this would work well as a sympathy card.
A full project supply list is linked HERE.
The heart and sentiment strip are both popped with dimensional adhesive for an added level of detail on this quick and simple card.
This card features the stencil that is also a part of the kit. Gorgeous, right? Love this stencil! You can find out all about how I created HERE on the Hero Arts Countdown #3 post from a few days ago.
