Hi there and welcome! Is it me or do the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kits just keep getting better and better? This month the kit lends itself to Valentine’s Day, but also to spring in general, so the kit will keep you creating long after February! My favorite add-on this month? Well, if you belong to the Hero Arts Kit Fanatics group on Facebook, you might have seen my, Bicycle, bicycle. I like to ride my bicycle. I like to ride my bike… *in my best ode to Queen sing song-y voice,* comment. The bike die and the waffles are tops for me! I’m guessing several hop participants will be using the waffles today. I can’t wait to hop along and see for myself!

This A2 card was created by stamping the kit shop and a hanging plant in the background with Soft Granite ink. Then the kit included bike and balloons were stamped in Intense Black, Copic colored and die cut.
You can find a full list of project supplies HERE.

Color Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Green and Persian Green Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers liberally on an A2 panel of Smooth Bristol paper. Color fairly solidly, but avoiding the edges of the panel. Then thoroughly wet with clean clear water and a paint brush to allow colors to move and drift. I prefer to let mine fry naturally, but heat set if you like.
If you find your paper is warped, once dry run through a laminator or Minc machine, or even go over it with a regular clothes iron. Be sure to protect the panel with scratch paper with any of these methods. I like to fold standard size piece of scratch printer paper in half and tuck the card in the middle, like you would a folder. Be sure the side touching the card is clean! No ink, printing, writing, etc. It can transfer with heat!

I created this card, with the kit, for the Countdown to Creativity over on the Hero Arts blog. You can find all the details for it HERE.
