This Month's MMH Add-Ons
When I saw all the add-ons this month this was the first I was drawn to, Staggering Branches. This stamp set includes the antler branches included above but also realistic looking antlers that I have used in the background outermost border. Did you notice them?
Create this card by Intensi-fied Black ink stamping deer, branch antlers and critters on Dove White cardstock. Copic color images in E17, E15, E13, E11 and E0000 for the browns. RV00, RV02, W4, W6, W8, and G94 for deer accents. Additional colors for the branches and critters are YG25, YG01, BG49, BG45 and B18. Fussy cut images.
You can find a full list of project supplies HERE.
Stamp realistic antlers in black around the border of an A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) Dove White cardstock panel. Indigo and Aquatic ink blend a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ Dove White cardstock panel and layer over a slightly larger gold glitter cardstock. Layer each of these three, flat, one atop the other. Pop deer above flat branches with foam tape. Pop critters, as well. White heat emboss sentiment on a Pitch Black scrap and pop into place. Adhere finished panel to folded card base.
This stamp set, Beautiful World, was indeed a quick followup in favorites to the Staggering Branches stamp set above. It includes the Earth with attached flowers, additional botanicals and several perfect sentiments.
Gold heat emboss Earth image onto Smooth Bristol cardstock and watercolor with kit included Reactive Ink Palette. Swipe ink on craft mat, plastic stamp packaging, laminated white paper, or other wipeable surface. Pick up color with a wet brush and color in images. Allowing colors to touch, without manually blending them, will cause them to meld into each other creating variation in color.
While watercolor dries, add several strips of 1/8″ wide dry tape to A2 Dove White cardstock panel. Remove liner and buff Ecoglitter onto tape with an old paintbrush. The glitter attaches securely. After dusting away any loose particles there is very little to no fallout.
Add a drop or two of Precision Glue and water to a wipeable surface and blend together. Paint land on Earth image with mixture and sprinkle on kit included green Ecoglitter. Tap off excess into coffee filter or creased paper to return to a container. Set aside to dry then fussy cut image. Adhere image foam tape popped over glittered stripes and white heat emboss sentiment on Pitch Black. Round out bottom edge of sentiment with a circle punch or circular die. Adhere finished panel to folded card base.
