December MMH Add-Ons
This kit card is so simple! Yes, it required a bit of masking, but you know what? I only fussy cut along the top of the mushroom mask. That is all I needed. Easy peasy. I stamped the first mushroom at the bottom with Intense Black on 110# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. Red has a tendency to bleed rather easily so a heavier cardstock is helpful. Otherwise, 80# will do. Mask the first ‘shroom and then stamp the second. Repeat steps for the third.
Stamp the little ladybug with seed on the top. Then stamp sentiment and Copic color the images. The Mushrooms are RV99, R39, R37 and R35 for the tops. The underside and stem is W3, W0 and 0. The ladybug is YG25 and YG21. Trim panel slightly smaller than A2 and adhere with dimensional adhesive to A2 folded card base. Add a few of the kit included Moonshine Confetti for sparkle.
This card features several elements from the Lucky Star add-on stamp set and a sentiment from Wish I Might. On an A2 panel of pool cardstock I ink blended the background with Tide Pool, Aquatic, and Navy on the top. Fresh Lawn alone was blended on the bottom. Once dry, I white heat embossed the heart shaped constellation. Then I embossed several other constellations around the perimeter with sparkle embossing powder.
I stamped the couple, the pup, and the sentiment in Intense Black. They boy is Copic colored in B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, COO, C1 and C2. The girl is in R32, R35, R37 and R39. Their hair and skin is E11, E23, E55, E57, E77 and E79. The Pup is colored in E0000, W2, W4, W6 and W8. Die cut them and add them with dimensional adhesive to the panel. Also adhere the slightly trimmed blended panel to an A2 folded card base with dimensional adhesive.
