August MMH Add-Ons
This project was created by white detail embossing and A2 card smooth bristol card panel with the add-on Floral Doily Bold Print. Then ink blend with Hero Arts inks in Soft Pool, Aegean, and Indigo. Easy does it. The more ink on the paper the easier it blends, but the ink must be built up slowly in order to avoid those dreaded rings!

Intense Black stamp the coffee cup and Copic color in E39 and E18. A touch of W00, W0 and W1 for the saucer. Next, White Puff heat emboss the sweet cream in the center. Stamp the sentiment right over the background embossing in Black Staz-On to ensure the color holds and remains crisp. Add a few coffee colored sequins as a final touch. This is a simple card with impact. I encourage you to give it a try! If you give it a go, tag me, I’d love to see your take on it!
I could not let the opportunity to reference Starbucks pass with a mermaid in the mix, come on! Green and a mermaid is about all it takes to conjure up the populous chain logo.
Stamp Mocha Mermaid in Intense Black and Copic color around her in black 100 or 110 on Neenah Solar White.
A full project supply list is linked HERE.
Die cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ white panel with Circle Infinity die just large enough to frame mermaid. Cut a circle border using two larger Circle Infinity dies and Copic color G19. Pop large panel over mermaid with your favorite dimensional adhesive. Adhere green border in place. I like to use liquid glue to allow myself a touch of wiggle room. Stamp sentiment in Intense Black (do make sure your dimensional adhesive covers your sentiment area evenly for a crisp impression) and add a few clear sequins.
This project was created with August’s main kit, Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors and a bit of masking on watercolor paper.
