You guys! The newest Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine is out and I have a whole page to myself! Whoop, whoop! You can find the issue available for digital download HERE or in print at local magazine retailers. Find me on page 53!
This is one of two cards I have in Scrapbook & Cards Today. It is a fun project utilizing the Copic marker airbrush system. However, the same look could easily be achieved with basic ink pads and blending brushes.
Begin by trimming a Hero Hues Dove White cardstock panel to about 4″ x 5 1/4″. Secure Hero Arts Starry Night stencil in place with washi tape or lightly mist the back of the stencil with a temporary spray adhesive like 505 Spray & Fix. Airbrush color from top to bottom with Copic markers in RV14, R22, RV42 and E01. Or use similarly colored ink pads and blending brushes.
Stamp plane and bunny from Hero Arts Fly High Animals in Intense Black. Plane is Copic colored in BG15, BG32, BG11, BG10, C4, C2 and C0. Bunny is E18, E15, E13 and E00, along with the same background colors in her scarf. Use coordinating dies to cut plane, bunny and Nested Cloudy dies for accent elements. Stamp sentiment in Intense Black on cloud. Adhere background to Hero Hues Azalea mat and glue all components in place popping up a few for dimension.
