Hiya friends! Today, it is my privilege to be joining in on the Ellen Hutson and Hero Arts Blog Hop! I know you’ve got several stops to hop through so I’ll keep my post to a minimum, but do know that I am a huge fan of Ellen Hutson, the person and the online paper crafting retailer. I have had the occasion to meet Ellen many times and she is just the warmest, most genuine, person. Her hugs are the best and her shop is is filled with all the paper crafting products you could dream of. The turn around time from order placement to my door is lickity split. Five stars, for sure! And those of you that frequent this site often know how I adore Hero Arts, so I’ma thinkin’ this is a pretty amazing collaboration!
As you’ll see throughout the hop Hero Arts pretty much covers the spectrum on style. They’ve got a little of everything. I’m featuring a bit of fantasy with a cute critter. Let’s get to today’s project to keep you rollin!
Create this project by first ink blending A2 Antique Ivory card stock panel with Soft Pink Shadow ink. Stamp stars in Unicorn Pigment ink onto background. Then splatter background with White Liquid Watercolor and Gold Glimmer Metallic ink. I like to add a drop or two to an acrylic block, add a drop or two of water, blend together and then flick off the edge of the acrylic block with a paint brush. Set panel aside to dry.
Stamp Fly High Animals helicopter, clouds, and kitty in Copic friendly Intense Black ink on Dove White card stock. Copic color helicopter in C6, C4, C2, C0, C00, B000, and BG0000. Kitty pilot in E18, E17, E13, 100, E30 and E31. Red accents are R39, R35 and R32. Die cut heli and clouds and heat emboss sentiment on Pitch Black card stock. Pop all elements on background panel with dimensional adhesive and adhere finished panel to folded card base.
Giveaway: You can win one of three $25 gift certificates to the Ellen Hutson shop! Winners will be drawn from commenters along the blog hop so make sure to comment at each stop before Friday, June 28th at 11:59pm PST. Winners will be notified by email.
Thank you so much for hopping along today. Carry on!
I’ll always do my best to link you to shops with products in stock. As you know, inventory levels are always fluctuating and therefore may not be available. Please use the retailer notification buttons to let them know you want more!
