Welcome to the 3rd Annual “Blogs 4 Boobies” blog hop. This is day 3 of a 7 day hop event. I, like many of you, have been touched by someone who has breast cancer. I am so thankful to say that those 2 amazing women are Survivors! I want to be able to say that for every sufferer. Ladies, be vigilant in your monthly self exams and your screenings. It is not something one ever thinks will happen to them, until it does.
Thank you for stopping by today and supporting the battle against breast cancer. Every card/project on the “Blogs 4 Boobies” blog hop is up for auction! All of the money raised through the silent auction, on our blogs, will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
UP FOR AUCTION: Set of 6 Hawaiian Happy Birthday shaker cards with envelopes. Three different sentiments adorn the inside, 2 cards with “Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday.” 2 cards with “Hawaiian Birthday Blessing” (w/palm) and 2 cards with “May Your Coconuts Never Hang Lower Than Your Grass Skirt, Happy Birthday.”

This set of cards was a joy to make. I simply stamped the images from Tropical Birthday by Skipping Stones design, and then masked them with masking fluid. Next, I airbrushed the background with Copic markers and then removed the masking to color the images. I always mask before coloring to reduce any risk of damage to the image. The Mama Elephant Ocean Waves Trio dies made a perfect guideline for the fuse tool to seal the shaker pouch. Trim and wrap the shaker to the back and adhere with tape runner adhesive. Voila, island life birthday cards!
I hope my Creative Bliss gives you inspiration to get crafting! Stop by again soon! <3
