Little Lucy had a birthday party. Six year old Lucy is adorable, and she needed a card to match that personality. This wrapping paper inspired card suited the bill perfectly. Follow along and create your own version of this beauty.

Truly, this card is simple as can be. First, use the largest frame from the Wplus9 gift card layers die set to cut the primary card layer. Next, center the Memory Box Stitched Happy Birthday Circle Frame die toward the top of the primary layer. This die cut can be set aside for use on another project. Then, use Happy Birthday die again on a contrasting color of cardstock that is backed with Stick-It Adhesive. Line the opening of the primary layer with trimmed piece of an Avery Elle Stamp Storage Pocket. Remove the backing adhesive from the contrasting die cut and nest in previously cut die opening on the clear Stamp Storage Pocket. Flip the card and create a two layer boundary for sequins from 3M Foam Adhesive Tape. Dust interior edges with the EK Success Powder Tool so filling won’t stick in places you don’t want it to! Fill remaining area of card with two layers of foam tape to create a uniform height, set aside. Cover front of card base with selected gift wrap, centering and topping with vellum if necessary. Fill primary layer with chosen sequins, glitter and/or seed beads, remove adhesive backing and carefully adhere card base. Voila, you have yourself a shaker card! Bling your card further by adding extra detail toward bottom of card.
