Hiya friends! Today, it is my privilege to be joining Altenew for their September (yes, already!!) Build-A-Flower: Hellebore Release Blog Hop. Each month Altenew releases a new color layering floral stamp set. They are absolutely gorgeous every freaking month! They even have a subscription plan for all the die hard botanical lovers out there guaranteeing them a set from the monthly release with a $5 savings. Pair up each Build-A-Flower release with Altenew’s easy to layer inks for color perfection in cube or oval format!
I’m really loving the bold and graphic as of late, and this beauty is no exception!
Stamp Hellebore in Cotton Candy, Coral Berry, Heart Beat, and then Ruby Red for the petals. Then the center in Citrus Burst and Caramel Toffee. Leaves are stamped in Bamboo, Olive and Moss. Using the always included color alignment guide, a MISTI, and this technique by Jennifer McGuire makes lining up a snap. Stamp several to create a batch of cards. Die cut each stamped element.
Then nest all 6 square designs from Dare to Dream together in a MISTI and stamp, in black, as one at the bottom of an A2 white cardstock panel. Outline each print with a narrow strip of black cardstock, adhered flat. Stamp Hellebore Hello sentiment and pop flower in place with dimensional adhesive. Tuck leaves under and adhere flat. Attach finished panel to folded card base to complete project.
Giveaway: To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog for a chance to win.
We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 9/7/2019.
