Hiya friends! Today, it is my privilege to be joining Altenew for their August New Release Blog Hop featuring stamps, dies and stencils. This month, like every other, Altenew has blown me away with another incredible selection of products. The creators behind Altenew know their aesthetic and their brand, and they are consistently on trend.
Today, I have combined two stamp sets to bring you one project. I’m featuring the color layering stamp set, Antique Roses, and the graphic set, Dot Art. Oh, and hey, if you’ve ever been intimidated by color layering sets before, you can watch a fabulous video by Jennifer McGuire HERE that uses the preprinted acetate the stamps come on to align each layer. It’s brilliant and truly makes color layering a snap.
Stamp Dot Art leaves and sentiment on A2 white cardstock panel in Sapphire ink to add a pop of graphic detail on an otherwise soft card. Blend Sapphire ink onto Turquoise cardstock, dark at the lower corner to light a the top. Assemble project with folded card base, leaf panel, roses, and the adhere turquoise panel with dimensional adhesive at an angle and trim to fit from the back of the card.
