Welcome friends! Today, I am joining Altenew for their Year In Review Blog Hop. I found it rather enjoyable to peruse the last year and to recall what I had created. I chose four of my past Altenew favorites to share with you again today, as well as one new project. There are quite a few of us to hop through so I’ll get right to it! Sit back, relax and enjoy the inspiration of the many talented designers all along the hop. Remember to comment at each stop for your chance to win a $15 or $30 gift certificate to the Altenew shop!
Airbrush a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white cardstock panel with Copic Sketch Markers in C10, C8, C6 and C4. Airbrusing is so darn fast. It is a fab way to create beautiful, rich backgrounds with very little effort or ink. The ink appears dense, but it is just a very light mist on the surface of the paper. Change the spatter of the ink with the air pressure of the compressor.
Airbrush a scrap of white with R39, R37, RV25 and RV04, creating a gradient. For even less effort, start with cardstock in a shade of pink and just airbrush in the deep reds! Die cut with Altenew’s Mega Love.
Mount Altenew’s Flower Vine in a stamp positioner. Dab stamp with Copic Various Ink Colorless Blender lightly saturated paper towel. Press stamp to airbrushed background. Repeat as necessary to achieve clear image. A little Colorless Blender will do. Too wet and the print will lose its shape and distort. Allow a few seconds of dry time between each repeat. As the Colorless Blender dries the image appears more boldly. Reposition stamps and fill background until content.
Giveaway: Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 01/03/2020 for a chance to win. Random winners will also be chosen to win a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each stop on the hop. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 01/06/2020.
Thank you so much for hopping along and celebrating A Year in Review with Altenew! Carry on!
