Welcome to my Creative Bliss! I am so pleased to be sharing with you. Today, I bring you a little game we played over at The Ton Stamps, Tic Tac Toe. The inspiration for this month’s challenge is not theme related, but technique related. Think of playing like Tic Tac Toe – using the items from either a row across, down or diagonal, just like all the ways you can win.

A Misti stamp positioner tool is quite helpful for this card. I began by stamping Pretty Mail in Caviar Hybrid ink, then Versamark, then heat setting with clear embossing powder on Bristol paper. Next, I loosely painted with Twinkling H20’s, a super sparkly watercolor. As that was drying I created the ethereal background by wetting the paper and then scribbling in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then helped the color move a bit here and there with a waterbrush. Once completely dry, I die cut the center of the watercolored panel, adhered acetate (aka recycled stamp packaging!) to the back along with 2 layers of foam tape to make a chamber for the shaker contents.

I then began assembling from the bottom up: Folded A2 card base at the bottom, then sparkly black cardstock, white sentiment panel (aligned carefully using light pencil markings), sequins, and then finally the watercolored panel. It has definitely turned out to be one of my recent favorites!

You can find this card as design team inspiration over at The Ton Stamps Challenge Blog. As you can see, I went top left to bottom right. How will you play? Up for grabs is a $50 gift certificate to The Ton Stamps retail shop.

Come play along and see what all the fuss is about! And even if you choose not to enter, it is a great place to check out inspiration created with The Ton products by the design team and by all the entrants.
