Hi, hi friends! I come to you today from a comfy lawn chair sitting beach front at the Pismo Sand Dunes. The sun is shining and the weather is beautiful! Bliss, I tell you, Bliss!

I began this card by stamping several Lucky Tulips by The Ton in Versamark ink on Bristol paper and heat embossing with The Ton Rose Gold embossing powder. Then, as a part of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, I colored at least one a day until I had enough to fussy cut and cover an A2 (4.25″ x 5.5″) card base.

I colored them with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in Orange, Carmine Red, Scarlet Red, Red, Bright Yellow, Pink Flamingo, Wine Red, Yellow, Geranium Red and Light Carmine. Most of the flowers are simply one color. I used the marker in the darkest area and then blended out with a medium Pentel Aquash Water Brush. Super Easy. Truly the easiest watercolor ever!

As I trimmed right up next to the embossing, bits of the embossing came off here and there. It will happen with any heated embossing if you flex the paper where it is adhered. Luckily, I had my Versamarker within arms reach. It is just like the Versamark pad, but in a marker. I drew over the offending areas, added a touch of embossing powder and voila, a perfect patch that only you and I know about.

After adhering all the the flowers and trimming down for straight edges, I Rose Gold heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock. A touch of striped cardstock set the sentiment off as it was tucked behind a couple of blossoms.

Super simple, super fabulous. Super easy with another awesome stamp set by The Ton! Really, Effie, just put me on autoship for all your amazing releases! <3
