Hello my crafty friends! I hope your all are surviving the bone chilling month of January. I’m here in central California where we have finally received plentiful rainfall! I’m ever so grateful for each drop, but even more so when a bit of heavenly sunshine peeks through.
Today, I am sharing Macarons from The Ton Stamps 2017 Anniversary Release. Guys, it is amazing. If I had to choose only one company to design with, and Heaven forbid that ever happen, it would be The Ton.

To begin, I poured Dr. Ph Martin’s Bleed Proof White ink onto black cardstock. Bleed Proof White is typically for pointed pen calligraphy, but I knew that it would be opaque, thin and perfect to achieve the effect I was going for. I took a can of compressed air to that puddle of ink, and blew it out across the paper. I gave this one go. That’s it.
While allowing the Bleed Proof White to dry, I stamped the Sweet Macarons image in Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid ink. Copic Marker colors I used were: BG23, BG15, BG49, YG11 YG06, G07, FY1, Y17, Y38, FRV1, RV04, RV09, BV02, FV2, B79, C0, C1, C3, C5, and 100. After coloring, I fussy cut the image and ran the Copic 100 around the white exposed edges for more complete look. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from Macarons in white detail embossing powder. Finally, I popped the macaron tower up for a bit of dimensional effect, but not too much, with Tombow Powertabs. I recently ordered a box of 12 packages because I love them so. They are about 1/2 the height of standard 3M foam tape and they have tremendous strength. It’s love, I tell ya!
Thanks so very much for taking a peek today. I hope you come back by soon.
Wishing the most Creative Bliss to you, my friends!
